Hiking

The Falaises du Talou tourist office offers hikes throughout the region during the summer period.

The campsite is a strategic point for crossing the GR21. Running along the Alabaster Coast from the cliffs of Le Tréport to Le Havre (179km), it was voted the favorite hiking trail of the French.

The landscapes are very diverse, alternating between the wild coast with its superb limestone cliffs, pebble beaches, and harbors, and the cultivated inland areas where beautiful homes, beech forests, pastures with Norman cows, and typical Pays de Caux crops like flax, cereals, and potatoes sit side by side.

In addition to this major trail, you can also find leaflets at the campsite reception with information on numerous hiking circuits within a 30km radius:

  • From Eaulne to Bailly-Bec, which features 9 hiking loops ranging from 3 to 13km with walking and equestrian trails...
  • From Aliermont to Avenue Verte, which features 13 loop trails ranging from 6 to 11km with walking and cycling paths...

In the Dieppe region, there is also the Avenue Verte connecting Dieppe to Forges-les-Eaux, and soon the extension of a cycle route linking Paris to London. This avenue winds gently between the Alabaster Coast shoreline and the hills of the Pays de Bray. It is one of the best developed routes in Western France.
